Madia for Congress Open House

Ashwin Madia

Team Madia held an open house at its new headquarters in Maple Grove last night. The campaign has quite an energy now; the influx of new staff seems to be working out well.

My post yesterday touched a nerve, setting a record in the comments section. I've long refrained from policing the comments here but just went in and deleted an anonymous comment which--I thought--made an apocryphal-sounding charge against Erik Paulsen. Reading through the rest of the comments, I saw that the person who originally posted the statement later identified herself--so my reason for deleting her earlier charge wasn't justified. I've notified the commenter she is welcome to re-post, should she choose to. (I take no position on the allegation therein.) In my post here, tomorrow, I'll try to respond to some of the furore on Paulsen's Pagoda.
Erik Paulsen and I again crossed paths this evening as we circled Staring Lake, the candidate on inline skates as I walked. He was helmetless and gave evidence of coordination, despite the hand/wrist guards. We exchanged waves.

In my observation, the Madia Campaign is the most well organized I have ever seen. I have never seen so many grassroots volunteers, friendly staffers and such enthusiasm in a candidate!

I think people are ready for a change, and want to elect a Patriot instead of a career politician!
